Discover a better way to trade CFDs

Trade on price movements with some of the most competitive spreads in the market, exceptional support and advanced technology – all within a secure, client-focused trading environment.

What is CFD trading?

A contract for difference (CFD) lets you take a view on whether an instrument's price will rise or fall—without buying or selling the underlying asset. Your profit or loss reflects the difference between the price when you open and when you close the position, within the same secure, client-focused environment you use for the rest of your trading with Frontier Markets Capital Fund.

What it means in practice

You trade on margin: you put up a fraction of the notional exposure as collateral while the platform reflects live market prices. That means you can express both long and short ideas with the same workflow, compare spreads and costs for your profile, and size positions in line with your risk plan—rather than tying up the full value of the asset.

CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You should ensure you understand how margin, leverage, and funding interact before you trade.

What is CFD

How CFD trading works

  • Choose a market

Pick an instrument you follow—forex, indices, commodities, or cryptocurrency CFDs—using the same account and tools you already rely on.

  • Decide direction and size

Go long if you expect prices to rise, or short if you expect them to fall. Your position size and margin determine how much of a move is reflected in your P&L.

  • Open and monitor

Execution follows the bid and ask you see on platform; spreads and applicable fees are part of the cost picture. Overnight positions may be subject to funding or swap, depending on the product and rules shown in your terminal.

  • Close when you choose

You realise profit or loss when you close the trade (or when a stop or margin event applies). The difference between your entry and exit prices, net of costs, is what matters for your result.

Why choose CFD trading?

Benefits of CFD trading

CFD trading is particularly well-suited for traders who value flexible, real-time access to a wide range of global markets, along with transparent execution and the freedom to take both long and short positions without the need to own the underlying asset. With Frontier Markets Capital Fund, traders benefit from competitive trading conditions, advanced and reliable technology, and an infrastructure designed to support efficient decision-making. In addition, the platform provides dedicated support and a user-focused environment aimed at helping you trade with greater clarity, confidence, and control.

  • Broad market access

Trade forex, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrency CFDs from a single account, with the same platform workflow and support you rely on elsewhere on Frontier Markets Capital Fund.

  • Long and short flexibility

Express a view whether prices rise or fall—without taking ownership of the underlying asset. Your P&L reflects the difference between your entry and exit, net of costs.

  • Capital efficiency

Margin lets you control notional exposure while posting collateral in line with your risk plan. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, so sizing and discipline matter.

  • No physical delivery

CFDs are cash-settled: you focus on price movement and execution quality rather than storage, custody, or logistics tied to the underlying.

  • Hedging and portfolio uses

Many traders use CFDs to offset or fine-tune exposure alongside other positions—useful when you want to manage risk without restructuring the whole book.

  • Transparent execution context

See bid and ask, spreads, and applicable charges in your terminal before and after you trade, within a secure, client-focused environment.
